During the hurricane seasons of 2004 & 2005, the Treasure Coast area’s hurricane preparedness was tested by Hurricanes, Frances, Jeanne and Wilma. While assisting those employees whose homes were affected by the storms, CAPTEC recognized the need to diversify our portfolio to include debris monitoring services. We have since provided the City of Port St. Lucie and the Town of Sewall’s Point with Debris Monitoring Services for FEMA and PSL. We provide prompt response following a storm event, working with the municipality to obtain emergency road clearing services, storm drainage analysis and a wide variety of general oversight services.  Activities may include accurate field reports, spread sheets, invoicing and reporting documentation which will necessary to obtain  FEMA or other Federal/State Agencies for reimbursement.

CAPTEC is fully prepared to assist municipalities in disaster assessment recovery and repair. We are currently assisting the City of Fort Pierce, City of Port St. Lucie, and Town of Sewall's Point with repair projects for NRCS, HMGP, and local mitigation strategies (LMS).
